Slope protection
and stabilization
We design and manufacture slope protection solutions for the construction sector in Venezuela. We use various protection methods to prevent the detachment of blocks of earth or rocks from the slopes or embankments. We handle synthetic, metallic or woven geotextile meshes and the union of two or more materials mentioned above.
These procedures are combined with the planting of various plant species of deep root type and of ample absorption of groundwater.
The plant species most used for slope stabilization are: vetiver, creeping peanut, blue grass and brachiaria humidicola, among others.
There are various methods for stabilizing slopes with the combination of the use of reforestation of specific plant species with great root penetration with mesh and geotextiles. These slope protection processes can be combined with prefabricated elements such as Retaining Blocks, which have the function of forming a kind of layer or façade on the surface of a slope to prevent damage caused by water erosion.
