GEOTEXTILES

Woven and non-woven geotextiles

At COMOPA, we offer you the best and most resistant geotextiles on the national and international market.

They are flexible permeable fabrics, produced with synthetic fibers, mainly polyethylene and polyester. Depending on their end use, they can be woven or non-woven.

Its main uses are: filtration, erosion control on land and slopes, soil reinforcement and separation between layers of materials. They can be produced in different thicknesses and dimensions. Ideal for reinforcing structures and protecting against erosion, thanks to their excellent properties against drainage seepage, which prolongs the life of works.

To better understand the use of Geotextiles, we need below:

Woven Geotextile: They are permeable fabrics woven in two directions and are used for filtrations, separation of layers of granular materials, protection against erosion.

Non Woven Geotextile: They are permeable fabrics that bind synthetic fibers with punching or micro holes.

Discover our catalog and review some examples of works with Geotextiles, in our Projects section.
